​Welcome to my personal website. It's more than just a 'vanity plate.' It's a visual representation of what I'm doing these days and highlights my current personal interests which have narrowed considerably since my retirement from the Foreign Service back in 2004. I would encourage anyone who wants to communicate with the 'outside world' to choose doing a website instead of using social media platforms like Facebook and all the rest. The reasoning is simple...this way you get to say what you want, when you want and how you want without interference from some anonymous politically-biased social media employees who, acting on some obscure algorithm, are more than willing to censor your posts if they depart from their platform's views.
